2020 Election Update!

The declared candidates:
President – Stephanie Corder
Management Vice President – Carolyn Kostelecky
Management Director – Matt Duffy

The annual Elections Meeting for the JCI Shakopee will be held on Thursday, September
19, 2019 following the General Membership Meeting at the Shakopee VFW unless
otherwise notified.

All declarations received as of the September 5, 2019 deadline are being announced via
the membership distribution email, on the website www.jcishakopee.org, and in the
information distributed at Fest.

You may still run for office by being nominated off the floor the night of elections.
Ideally, the General Membership will vote in most of the Board of Directors on the night
of Elections with minimal positions being filled after elections. Please consider running
for office for your 2020 Board of Directors – it would be great to see all positions filled
on September 19.

Please see the attachments for information regarding the Bylaws for Duties of Office,
Proxy Acceptance Forms, Proxy Vote Forms and all of the Protocol for Elections and
Running for Office. Proxy Forms will also be available at Renaissance – one copy will be
delivered to each pub, Treehouse and the break area behind Kings.

Any Alumni (or soon to be Alumni) Members that would be interested in learning this
process and/or willing to assist the night of elections, please let me know – I still have a
few open spots.
