Big Taste of Fun 6.20
Big Taste of Fun started as the Taste of Shakopee. Last year it grew into a collaboration with the Shakopee Parks and Rec department and the Iron Man bike group. You will have the amazing opportunity to connect with and meet several people in our local community, while experiencing amazing fulfillment in bringing our local community together. You will be in charge of getting local vendors together to participate in the tasty part of Big Taste, as well as organizing Jaycees to help with beer sales, membership recruiting, ticketing, set up and tear down.
Scott County Beer Sales 7.22-26
Scott County Beer Sales Chair Person will work closely with Scott County to bring news updates on the fair to the chapter. They are responsible for coordinating the man power to serve beer at the fair for 4 days. This event is a blast, with lots of energy from fair goers and live music.
Renaissance Festival Beer Sales 8.22-10.4
The Renaissance Festival Beer Sales project is the bread and butter to our chapter’s budget. This is an important position where you will be in charge of rounding up over 100 Jaycees to help pour beer over 7 weeks (16 days) of the Renaissance Festival. There are training events before the festival begins, which you will help coordinate, such as the ale tenders meeting and the pubmaster meeting. You will have a committee of strong individuals to help you with this project. You will gain skills such as project management, public speaking, debate, and interpersonal communication. This project is not for the faint of heart, but the chair person will find it to be immensely rewarding.
